Game made within 48 hours at Chillennium 2018, theme of the jam was “Transformation”. Worked in a team of 4 where I was in charge of project management as well as assisting with concept, asset, and game development. 2D game using the Unity engine, turn based strategy game where you must collect resources on a grid based map to survive several day/night cycles.
Given the time frame and working with 2 people I had never met before, the project suffered from communication issues and scoping. I worked with trying to manage the team as well as concepting, creating several game assets, UI/UX, reviewing code, and implementing assets and animation into Unity. Overall the concept had potential but didn’t have the time to be well executed. In the future a greater focus on communication would be crucial to recovering a project like this.
